Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the A-frame Jack with the footplate, has a 15 inch travel and 5,000 pound weight capacity. Now this A-frame jack is designed to bolt right onto your A-frame coupler. Common uses and utility trailers, RV trailers, landscape trailers, has a nice weather resistant black powder-coat finish and the inner tube is a zinc finish. Has a nice top line handle here for smoother ergonomic design for easy cranking. It's in the store mode right here. If you just flip it over this way and you're in your cranking mode, makes it very easy.
Features 15 inches of travel, has a weight capacity of 5,000 pounds and it does include the footplate with the snapper pin. So again, if you just put it into the wind position, go ahead and crank it. You can see it's very easy to crank and extends it out. And just crank it the opposite way, counter-clockwise and it'll retract. And then to store it, just flip your handle up over into the store position.
But that should do it for the review on the A-frame jack with the footplate, 15 inch travel and 5,000 pound weight capacity.

Great jack, just what I needed. The distance between the plate and the bottom, without the foot plate is about 7.5”, which is what I was after.

Seems well built and turns easily. Only 2 worries; the handle doesn't flip over into a stowage position and there isn't a port/hole in the pillar to oil the screw. Otherwise it seems good.

The original jack that came with the big tex trailer lasted over 10 yrs. At one year, with light use (less than 1 x month), this jack has bound up, difficult to crank, even with attempts to lubricate (which I never have to do on our other trailers). Would not recommend, and wonder if there is a better, more durable jack on the market?

Not as sturdy as the previous one I bought from you. The handle keeps coming loose and the screw struggles with the trailer weight. Despite having lubricated the screw it still creaks and groans. I can see having to replace it shortly.

Working extremely well. I accidentally left the foot attached while towing and a large bump in the road caused the foot to slam into the pavement at speed. Surprisingly still working great, the only damage was some large scratches and most of the paint removed.

Still working well. Slight squeak when using, but it sits outside uncovered. A tiny bit of spray lubricant and the noise is gone. Happy with my purchase.

The cover fit very well. It makes the trailer look like it is complete. The trailer jack fit perfectly there was no need to change anything. The bolts lined up just right. Was looking for a quality heavy duty Jack for my landscape trailer. This one was everything I was looking for. It was black, it was rated for 5000lbs and it was cheap. They were selling them at my local trailer dealer for $89.99 and the were only rated for 2000lbs. Thank you Etrailer for selling quality products at a affordable price.

Bought this for a friend whose trailer jack was broken. Bolted right up. Just feels like it has alot better guts than the 2 or 3000 lb version. Really smooth.

The jack does the job but after 1 year is showing signs of deterioration. Gears feel sloppy and squeels like a pig when operating it. Even after applying copious amounts of oil. Will likely only get one more year's use out of it.

Not good. Crank binds, needs oiling with every use. The lifting power is fine, but the screw mechanism must not be well sealed, so difficult to turn it has bent the crank. Buy some other model.
